Boy's Tennis

Yesterday at the State Tennis Championship EWG suffered its second loss of the season. Ryan Gouveia and Sean Farrell finished their seasons undefeated. It was a great season! Congratulations to the team!

New EWG Record

Congratulations to Zach Hurd, who set a new EWG record in the javelin at his past weekend's Hendricken Invitational with a throw of 162 feet, 11 inches. If you see Zach today, congratulate him!

Girl's Volleyball

Any girl interested in joining the winning tradition there will be a sign up meeting for the girls volleyball team this Friday at 7:30 in the auditorium. If you want to play plan on attending this brief meeting. Please see Mr. Bednarcyk if you have any questions.

the Best!! The JV Volleyball Team beat North Smithfield 3-1 on Thursday evening. The win completes their undefeated season and gives them the 2011 JV State Championship Title!

Tennis and Softball will be Monday, May 23rd. Tennis will be at 2:30 and Softball at 3:00pm.

On Saturday May 7th the JV 9/10 Volleyball Team won the State Tournament! Congratulations Boys!!!

Sr. Day

The Baseball team lost to Westerly 10-8 in extra innings on Saturday. It was a great game and a hard fought one.

Coach Gamba announced at the game that the team has won the very prestigious Umpires Association Sportsmanship Award for 2011. This is a very high honor and a well deserved total team effort! CONGRATULATIONS BOYS!!!

Girls win!

The Softball Team beat Cranston East 5-4 on Thursday afternoon. The game was tied 4-4 going into the bottom of the 7th when Macayla Paiva hit a home run for the win. Congratulations Ladies!!

The Volleyball Team beat Tollgate last night 3-2. The Boys will celebrate Sr. Night on Thursday, May 19th at 6:00pm. Come out and support the team!

Boy's Volleyball Team Cruising

The boys volleyball team had another incredible 2 wins against 1st place Cranston West and 2nd place Pilgrim leaving EWG just one game out of 1st.

A Win in 5!!

The Baseball Team beat Rogers in 5 innings by a score of 14-3. Kyle Bonn hit 2 home runs and TJ Cacciola hit 1 homer. Congratulations Boys!

Senior Day for the baseball team will be on Saturday May 14th at 12:30. Come out and cheer on the team as they play their last home game of the season!

The Boys Tennis Team continued the streak with another win yesterday afternoon. They beat Tiverton 5-2. Come out and celebrate Senior Day with the team next Tuesday, May 17th at 3:15pm.
