Congratulations to the girl’s soccer team on their win against Lincoln. Hayley Kenyon knocked in a header with 20 minutes left off a corner kick from Kathleen Rafanelli to score the game’s only goal and give the Knights a 1-0 win.

EWG Playing Field Dedication
We invite you to a brief dedication of the EWG playing field at Homecoming weekend October 3, 2009 at 1:00 PM at EWG High School. Our thanks go out to our community for all the great support we have received. Phase 1 is completed with more fund raising and work to be done for our next phase. On October 3rd we ask you to join us in celebrating this accomplishment.

Fan Bus to the Football Game
There will be a FAN BUS for anyone interested in attending the football game at North Smithfield Friday evening. The bus leaves at 5:00 and the game begins at 7:00pm. See Mr. Alves or Mrs. Neff if you plan on taking the fan bus.

Girl's Soccer Team Scores First Victory On The New Track and Field!
The new sports season has begun with opening day of the new track and field! The girls soccer team was the first to play an official game on the field. They beat Westerly 4-0! The cheer team, football team and boys soccer team were there to cheer them on.

Fall Athletics
Fall sports at the high school are about to begin. The start of the season for all fall sports is August 17th. All athletes are required to present a copy of their most recent physical examination to the head coach prior to participating. Coaches will pass out other required forms on the first day. Here is the schedule for all sports on August 17th:
Football 4:00-7:00pm
Boys Soccer 7:00-9:00 am
Girls Soccer 8:00-1100 am
GirlsTennis 9:00-11:00 am
Girls Volleyball 8:00-10:00 am
Boys/Girls Cross Country 9:00-11:00 am
