High School Sports Announcements
- There will be a Captain's Practice for the boy's baseball team on Saturday at 5:30pm in the Senior High Gym.
- Any boy interested in playing volleyball this spring should attend the meeting on Fri, Jan 29th immediately after school. The meeting will be held outside the Sr High Gym.
- Any students interested in hockey please sign up in the office.

Swimming
On Sunday, January 10th at the Tottell Swim Center at URI, freshmen Sydney Cooper and junior Cassandra Jones represented Exeter-West Greenwich High School as they participated in the Bay View Invitational Swim Meet. This invitational meet included all public high schools and most private schools from Rhode Island and two exceptional teams from Massachusetts. Freshman Sydney Cooper participated in her first high school meet placing 18th and dropping 2 seconds in the 100 backstroke and also swam the 100 breaststroke. Junior Cassandra Jones placed third in the 200 Individual Medley and placed second behind only Olympian Elizabeth Beisel in the 100 backstroke. Good Job ladies!! Come cheer on these two young ladies when they represent EWG at the State Swim Championships, to be held at URI on Sat. Feb. 13th.
